A friend of mine has aquired an AMIGO lawn tractor (picture) that appears to have been produced in the 60's. We were told that they were only produced about 6 months before going out of business. The company was started by some workers on strike and went out of business after the strike was settled due to patent lawsuits. Any info or contacts would be appreciated. Also interested in other owners.
They were manufactured about 1965 by a company called Demco in Dowagiac, Michigan. I received some pictures and literature from another owner. They had a model 99, 1200 and 1400 10, 12 and 14 hp.
