Question:

I have a model J-318 (S/N 35431) Worthington 18" rotory push gas/oil
mix 2 cycle mower. Not to easy to start at times, but runs well. I would
like to know something about it. All I can find is that Worthington was
bought out by Jacobsen.

The Worthington Lawn Mower was manufactured in Stroudsburg, Pa. They produced the 18" mower as well as two types of reel mower. If you need further information call me at (540) 896-9190 (Virginia).

You should also check with the Monroe County, PA. Historical Society for further information on the company. They were also the first ones to have a successfull gang mower, horse drawn no less.
