I have an old Ranch King garden tractor and I'm trying to find the manufacture of it. I'm not sure but I think it was made in the 60's or possibly the early 70's. I know that Quality Farm & Fleet sells Ranch King garden tractors, I'm not sure if it's the same company or not. It's a 16 HP Briggs, hydrostatic drive with high and low range, hydralic lift, with a three point hitch.
"Ranch King" was a buying group name (Midstates Buying Group) for The Ranch and Home Stores. Most of the riding equipment was standard "MTD stuff" model numbers included. A model number is recognizable by it's format and content and MTD has a very unique model numbering system. Some of the stuff was made by Murray and Gilson, but not much
